Minimum Recycled Content in Plastic Packaging
By 1 January 2030 any plastic in packaging placed on the market, shall contain 10-35% Post-Consumer Recycled (PCR)
plastic waste*.
Contact-sensitive packaging made from polyethylene terephthalate (PET) as the major component, except single-use plastic beverage bottles.
Contact sensitive packaging made from plastic materials other than PET, except single use plastic beverage bottles.
Single use plastic beverage bottles.
Plastic packaging other than those referred to above.
